SPAA has been praised for the delivery of high level technical presentations by quality speakers at a wide range of events and conferences. The events cater for the broad and varied professions operating in the SMSF sector, enabling SMSF professionals to keep up to date with legislative changes, better advise their clients and network with like-minded professionals.

SPAA National Conference

The SPAA National Conference is held annually in February and is recognised as the pre-eminent SMSF event on the financial services calendar. Presenters at the Conference are recognised SMSF experts and provide insights into new strategies and technical updates. Valuable networking opportunities are offered at a range of social functions.

SPAA State Technical Conferences

The State Technical Conferences are full day events held annually in August in capital cities around Australia. They include strategic, technical and working case studies that enable participants to build on their SMSF knowledge.

SPAA State Chapter Events

State Chapters and, where appropriate, Sub-Chapters have been established to provide regular local opportunities for members and other interested parties to discuss important topical issues in the SMSF sector.
