Education Review Programs
SPAA encourages SMSF educators to become a SPAA Registered
Education Provider. This provides them with the opportunity to
submit their course/activity for review by an independent assessor
in order to gain SPAA's endorsement. This endorsement gives
educators the opportunity to provide training aligned with the
widely recognised and sought-after SPAA brand.
SPAA currently offers two review programs:
Passive Education Review:
This style of review is suited to short activities such as
single events and conference presentations that generally use
passive learning.
Accreditation awarded in this program is valid for 12 months
with an optional 12 month renewal.
Active Education Review:
This style of review is suited to longer courses such as
workshops, seminars, online courses and training days, where the
focus is on improving knowledge and reinforcing the skills being
taught through case studies, discussion groups, role play,
interactive activities or an assessment.
Content in the active education review undergoes a more
intensive assessment, evaluated against the quality of educational
outcome, assessment, education experience, and industry
standards.
Accreditation awarded in this review process is valid for two
years with an optional two-year renewal.
Any course submitted into the SPAA Education Review Programs
will be awarded CPD points.
